About Us

Brookwood Memorial Halls comprise a large Memorial Hall with stage, lighting, kitchen, servery, Committee Rooms and facilities for disabled, and a smaller Community Hall.  Together they are the main village and community halls of Brookwood village, near Woking, in Surrey, England.

The Halls and grounds are maintained to a good standard and are available for hire - details from our Lettings Agent.

The Halls are managed by local residents annually at a public meeting.

The Memorial Hall was built on land donated by the London Necropolis Company, from funds raised by public subscription, to commemorate those Brookwood residents who gave their lives for our freedom in the two World Wars.

News

January 2012 - Icy Conditions - During periods of snow and ice, we will endeavour to keep the Halls open for pedestrian access only.  We do not have the resources to keep the driveway and car park clear of snow and free of ice. Users deciding to cancel bookings should contact our Bookings Secretary in time for us to adjust the pre-set heating please.

24 June 2011 - Bookings Secretary - At last we have found a replacement, from 1 July 2011  call Colin Greenwood, 07757 969231. colin.s.greenwood@gmail.com

Many thanks to our retiring Bookings Secretary, Janet Stone, for fifteen years of volunteer work.
