APPEAL FOR BOOKINGS SECRETARY - After over ten years, Janet Stone has decided to stand down as the Bookings Secretary for the Memorial Hall, and we NEED a replacement. The position entails liaising by telephone, email and letter with regular and new hirers, and representing the Management Committee to hirers over their use of the Halls. It would best suit someone who is at home during the day, and is confident dealing with hirers, handling correspondence and keeping good records. Janet has agreed to stay around for a stable hand-over, and other Committee members will provide any necessary support ongoing. Please contact John Thornton 01483 829926 or Janet 01483 489699 for further info. Filling the position is critical to the ongoing viability of the Halls, WE NEED YOU!
