About Us

Brookwood Memorial Halls comprise a large Memorial Hall with stage, lighting, kitchen, servery, Committee Rooms and facilities for disabled, and a smaller Community Hall.  Together they are the main village and community halls of Brookwood village, near Woking, in Surrey, England.

The Halls and grounds are maintained to a good standard and are available for hire - details from our Lettings Agent.

The Halls are managed by local residents elected annually at a public meeting.

The Memorial Hall was built on land donated by the London Necropolis Company, from funds raised by public subscription, to commemorate those Brookwood residents who gave their lives for our freedom in the two World Wars.

June 2016 - The Halls hosted the Queen's 90th Birthday celebrations which were well attended by villagers, congratulations to the organisers.

April 2016 - Our AGM saw the re-election of all our retiring Committee members, with Nick Gair being replaced by Pete Goold as the representative of the Scouts Association. Welcome Pete.
